HIOOL Goods Terms of Service
1. Overview and Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of hiool.com and the personal-shopping, order-fulfillment, website, checkout, customer-support, and related services provided by HIOOL Goods (“HIOOL,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing hiool.com, creating an account, placing an order, or otherwise using HIOOL’s services, you agree to these Terms and to the policies incorporated into them, including HIOOL’s Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, Privacy Policy, and Legal Notice.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the website or place an order.
HIOOL’s online store is hosted on Shopify, which provides technology used to operate portions of the website, checkout, and related ecommerce functionality.
2. HIOOL’s Independent Role
HIOOL is an independent personal-shopping and order-fulfillment service.
Subject to store availability, after an order is placed HIOOL independently shops for requested retail products from U.S. retail stores, prepares eligible items for shipment, and arranges delivery through independent third-party carriers.
By placing an order, you request and authorize HIOOL to perform personal-shopping services for you by attempting to obtain the retail products identified in your order, subject to store availability and these Terms. This customer authorization is solely between you and HIOOL and does not create any agency, partnership, endorsement, sponsorship, authorization, or other relationship between HIOOL and Trader Joe's or any other third-party retailer or brand owner.
HIOOL is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or authorized by Trader Joe’s.
HIOOL is not an official Trader Joe’s retailer, distributor, franchisee, delivery partner, representative, or agent.
Trader Joe’s does not operate, control, or fulfill orders placed through hiool.com.
3. Third-Party Products
Products identified on hiool.com are third-party retail products.
HIOOL does not manufacture, formulate, develop, alter, or control those products and is not the brand owner of Trader Joe’s products or other third-party merchandise unless expressly stated otherwise.
Brand names, product names, trademarks, logos, packaging, and other brand identifiers belong to their respective owners.
HIOOL uses third-party trademarks and product names only as reasonably necessary to identify the genuine retail products customers request HIOOL to obtain.
Their use does not imply affiliation, sponsorship, authorization, or endorsement.
4. Store Availability and Order Acceptance
Product listings on hiool.com do not represent real-time inventory at any Trader Joe’s store or other retail location.
Availability may change by store, date, season, geographic area, purchase limits, or other circumstances outside HIOOL’s control.
An order confirmation means HIOOL has received your request. It does not guarantee that every requested item will be available during the shopping process.
If an item cannot reasonably be obtained, HIOOL may:
- contact you regarding the affected item;
- cancel the affected item;
- issue an applicable refund;
- cancel the order where necessary; or
- take another reasonable action consistent with the Refund Policy.
HIOOL may also refuse or cancel an order where reasonably necessary because of suspected fraud, payment problems, pricing errors, import or shipping restrictions, product availability, quantity limitations, legal restrictions, or other legitimate operational reasons.
5. HIOOL Pricing
Prices displayed on hiool.com are HIOOL’s independent checkout prices.
A HIOOL price is not represented as the current Trader Joe’s in-store retail price.
HIOOL’s displayed item price reflects HIOOL’s independent pricing for obtaining the requested product and providing its personal-shopping and order-fulfillment service.
Retail store prices may vary by location, date, availability, promotion, or other factors and may differ from the price charged by HIOOL.
Unless expressly stated otherwise:
- the displayed HIOOL item price is the amount charged for that item through HIOOL;
- applicable shipping charges are shown separately at checkout;
- applicable taxes may be calculated at checkout;
- HIOOL does not add a separate mandatory shopping, fulfillment, or payment-processing fee after the displayed item price without disclosure; and
- international duties, taxes, customs charges, brokerage charges, or similar destination-country fees may apply as described in the Shipping Policy.
Prices, promotions, and availability may change without notice before an order is submitted.
6. Payment
You agree to provide accurate and current billing and payment information.
Payments may be processed by Shopify, payment networks, banks, digital-wallet providers, or other third-party payment service providers.
HIOOL does not control the processing times, authorization decisions, fraud screening, exchange-rate calculations, or other internal processes of third-party payment providers.
Your payment method may be charged according to the amounts disclosed during checkout.
If a payment is declined, reversed, disputed, or otherwise cannot be completed, HIOOL may suspend or cancel the affected order.
7. Product Information
HIOOL makes reasonable efforts to present useful product information, but product packaging and formulations may change.
Ingredients, allergens, nutrition information, net weight, country of origin, certifications, Drug Facts, warnings, directions, packaging, colors, sizes, and other product information may be modified by the manufacturer or brand owner without notice to HIOOL.
Customers should review the physical product package actually received for the most current:
- ingredient information;
- allergen statements;
- nutrition information;
- Drug Facts where applicable;
- warnings;
- directions;
- storage instructions; and
- other product-specific information.
Website content is not a substitute for current physical packaging or professional medical, dietary, or other professional advice.
8. Images and Product Appearance
HIOOL may use photographs of retail products to help identify the items offered through HIOOL’s service.
Packaging, labeling, colors, graphics, dimensions, and other visible characteristics may change over time.
Computer screens and mobile devices may also display colors differently.
Minor packaging or appearance differences do not necessarily mean the item received is incorrect.
9. Shipping and Delivery
HIOOL arranges delivery through independent third-party carriers.
Available shipping services, charges, and estimated delivery information are governed by HIOOL’s Shipping Policy and the options presented at checkout.
Carrier transit times and delivery dates are estimates unless a particular carrier service expressly states otherwise.
Weather, customs, carrier operations, holidays, address issues, remote locations, and other circumstances outside HIOOL’s control may affect delivery.

10. International Orders
HIOOL may make shipping available to eligible destinations shown at checkout.
Customers placing cross-border orders are responsible for complying with applicable destination-country import rules and restrictions.
Depending on the destination and shipment, duties, taxes, customs charges, brokerage fees, or other government or carrier charges may apply.
Unless checkout expressly states otherwise, these destination-country charges are the customer’s responsibility.
HIOOL may cancel an item or order that cannot reasonably or lawfully be shipped to the selected destination.
11. Returns, Refunds, Damages, and Missing Items
Returns, refunds, unavailable products, incorrect items, missing items, damaged shipments, and similar order-resolution matters are governed by HIOOL’s Refund Policy.
Some food, grocery, beverage, beauty, personal-care, consumable, hygiene-sensitive, or specifically identified final-sale products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
Nothing in these Terms eliminates any consumer right that cannot legally be waived.

12. Customer Responsibilities
When using HIOOL, you agree to:
- provide accurate account, contact, billing, and shipping information;
- review your order before submitting it;
- use the website only for lawful purposes;
- comply with applicable import, customs, and destination-country rules;
- promptly notify HIOOL of material order problems;
- provide reasonable documentation when necessary to investigate a damage, loss, missing-item, or fulfillment claim; and
- not misuse, interfere with, damage, reverse engineer, or fraudulently use HIOOL’s website or services.
You may not use HIOOL in connection with fraudulent transactions, unlawful activity, infringement of another party’s rights, malicious software, unauthorized scraping intended to disrupt the service, or other abusive conduct.
13. Accounts
If customer-account functionality is available, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity conducted through your account.
Notify HIOOL promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
HIOOL may suspend or restrict access to an account where reasonably necessary to protect the customer, HIOOL, Shopify, payment providers, other users, or the integrity of the service.
14. Intellectual Property
Except for third-party materials and trademarks, the original HIOOL website design, HIOOL-created text, HIOOL branding, original photographs owned by HIOOL, graphics, compilations, and other original HIOOL content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
These Terms do not transfer ownership of any intellectual-property rights to you.
Trader Joe’s and other third-party trademarks, product names, packaging, logos, and brand materials remain the property of their respective owners.

15. Reviews, Feedback, and User Content
If you submit a review, photograph, comment, feedback, or other content to HIOOL, you represent that you have the right to submit it and that it does not violate applicable law or another person’s rights.
You remain responsible for your submitted content.
Where reasonably necessary to operate, display, moderate, promote, or improve HIOOL’s services, you grant HIOOL a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, format, display, and distribute content that you voluntarily submit for publication, subject to applicable law and HIOOL’s Privacy Policy.
HIOOL may remove or decline to publish content that is fraudulent, unlawful, misleading, abusive, infringing, irrelevant, or otherwise inappropriate for the service.
16. Third-Party Services and Links
HIOOL’s website may use or link to third-party services including Shopify, payment providers, carriers, analytics services, social platforms, or external websites.
Those third parties operate under their own terms and privacy practices.
A link or integration does not by itself mean HIOOL controls, guarantees, or endorses all third-party content or services.
17. Privacy
HIOOL’s collection and use of personal information is governed by HIOOL’s Privacy Policy and applicable privacy law.

18. Errors and Corrections
The website may occasionally contain typographical errors, outdated information, incorrect pricing, incorrect product details, or other mistakes.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, HIOOL may correct errors, update information, or cancel an affected order when reasonably necessary.
If HIOOL cancels an item for which payment has been collected, any applicable refund will be handled under the Refund Policy.
19. Service Availability
HIOOL may modify, suspend, maintain, or discontinue website features or services when reasonably necessary.
HIOOL does not guarantee that the website will be continuously available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
Temporary outages may occur because of maintenance, Shopify services, hosting providers, payment networks, internet disruptions, technical problems, security events, or other circumstances.
20. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, HIOOL’s website and services are provided on an “as available” basis.
HIOOL does not make warranties regarding third-party product manufacturing, formulation, ingredients, performance, fitness for a particular purpose, or characteristics beyond representations HIOOL expressly makes about its own service.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer protections that cannot legally be excluded.
21. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, HIOOL will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential losses arising from the use of the website or services where such liability may lawfully be limited.
HIOOL is not responsible for manufacturing defects, formulation changes, brand-controlled product changes, or other matters controlled by third-party manufacturers or brand owners.
HIOOL also does not control independent carrier operations, customs authorities, payment networks, banks, or other independent third parties.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.
22. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for losses, claims, or expenses arising directly from your unlawful misuse of HIOOL’s services, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of another person’s rights.
This section does not impose responsibility on you for conduct caused by HIOOL or for obligations that cannot legally be shifted to a consumer.
23. No Waiver and Severability
If HIOOL does not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, that does not waive HIOOL’s right to enforce it later.
If a court or other competent authority determines that part of these Terms is unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted or severed where necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
24. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable United States federal law and the laws of the State of California, without giving effect to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer-protection law requires otherwise.
Nothing in these Terms prevents a consumer from relying on rights or remedies that applicable law does not permit the parties to waive.
25. Changes to These Terms
HIOOL may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the service, website, policies, technology, operations, or applicable law.
The current version posted on hiool.com will apply as required by law.
Material changes will not retroactively eliminate rights that have already arisen where applicable law prohibits doing so.
