Cooking Instructions

To Boil

Bring a large pot of water or broth to a boil. Add the bag of farro and boil for 10–12 minutes. Drain and season to taste.

To Simmer

Combine 1/4 cup farro and 2/3 cup water or broth in a sauce pan with a lid. Bring to a boil over high heat, reduce to low heat, cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand covered for 5 minutes. Drain any excess liquid. Fluff with a fork, season to taste.

To Make Soup

Bring 8 cups broth to a boil. Add the bag of farro along with fresh vegetables of your choice. Simmer for about 10 minutes or until all ingredients are cooked. Season to taste.
